build smart trailer

Our BuildSMART (Sustainable Materials and Resources Trailer) is the envy of any home building show. The next generation of sustainability leaders gain inspiration and valuable networking connections with student groups and emerging professionals.

ELECTRIFICATION SERIES

We have recently brought together a cohort of professionals to offer an 'Electrification Series', featuring educational webinars, electric building tours, induction cooking demonstrations, and more! Stay tuned! 

green awards

Every year local, green projects are celebrated and bring awareness to our cause in our Green Awards showcase.

green schools

By promoting Green Schools, new or existing, we can make a tremendous impact on student health, test scores, teacher retention, school operational costs and the environment.

green building speaker series

In 2021 the CCGBC & Ventura College Architecture Department teamed up to present a monthly, hour-long 2021 Green Building Speaker Series by professionals within the realm of green building. Topics range on a variety of subjects, such as electrification, solar, LEED certification & more!

Green building mentorship initiative

We are developing a network of mentors and mentees throughout the central coast to connect and collaborate in order to expand our ecosystem of leaders in the built and natural environments. Click here for more information on how to get involved. 

Regional councils

We host Regional Councils in the three counties that we span over - San Luis Obispo Regional Council, Santa Barbara Regional Council, and Ventura Regional Council. We are creating a connected web of individuals and organizations who have similar missions to support each other in advocacy and outreach. Anyone in the community can join these meetings!
