During last week's Green Schools Week, Oceano Elementary participated in the Green Apple Day of Service, kicking off a year of health and energy efficient initiatives. Students seized the day by biking or walking to school, participating in a bicycle safety rodeo, learning efficient recycling practices and taking part in other zero-waste initiatives.
