Georgia Brown School Carnival & Gateway Ceremony

School Carnival open and free to the public. PTA, teachers, and students involved as an annual PTA fundraiser. The USGBC CA Central Coast Chapter is going to have the BuildSmart Trailer available and wants to award a $500 check to the school for finishing up their Gateway to Green Schools application with Cal Poly students! We are inviting County Board supervisors in North County and the city to be there and congratulate the school! Hopefully, they can make it and have a chance to mingle and support Green Schools initiatives even more! Frank Mecham loved coming out to Lewis Middle School who finished their Gateway application last year. Also One Cool Earth would like to support another "worm toss" and strawberry eating contest in the garden for kids. We are looking for garden docents to supervise and share about the garden with people as it will be a great time to capture a lot of traffic and chat with parents and students.
