San Luis Obispo Earth Day; April 21st 11:00-5:00 pm
On Saturday, April 21st, the 28th annual San Luis Obispo County Earth Day Fair will take place at Laguna Lake Park from 11am to 5pm. This year’s theme is Time is Running Out. For businesses, organizations and individuals desiring to invest in Earth Day 2018.
Generous donors, businesses, organizations, schools and individuals who come to share their message, cause or solution will be at the various booths. Volunteers are the events blood and help to organize and keep the event flowing. All of these roles are invaluable to making Earth Day a success.
Come visit CCGBC where you can learn more about our Green Schools Program Schools are the heart and soul of our communities with 20% of our nation attending schools every day. Green schools can save money in operations and maintenance to hire new teachers, computers, and textbooks. The Green Schools Steering Committee's goal of inspiring green school advocates is key to ensuring that students attend high-performing schools that offer a nurturing learning environment and use less money on energy and water - saving taxpayer money for better uses like textbooks, computers, and more teachers.
